Texting Awareness Foundation teams up with the Allstate Foundation to educate students of the dangers of texting.  The Allstate Foundation awards TAF a grant to assist with funding their education program at New York, Long Island Schools.

TAF Launches National Safe Summer Driving Campaign, Texting Awareness Foundation Teams Up with Red Mango to fight the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer. Texting and driving is the #1 killer of teens in America, and Memorial Day through Labor Day are known as the 100 deadliest days of summer from critical injuries and deaths related to texting and driving. The campaign will kick off with a high-impact Billboard in Times Square, sponsored by Red Mango, and will run during the summer months of June through September.
